Note: The NH35 has 3 hands and a date complication.
Wind the Watch
Unscrew the watch crown counterclockwise until you feel the crown unthread from the case. This is position 0
Wind it clockwise away from you about 20-30 times to build up a power reserve.
Prime the Watch for Date Setting
Pull the crown directly away from the case until you fell 2 clicks. This is position 2. Turn the crown clockwise until the watch reads 6:30 or 18:30
Push the crown back in to position 0.
Setting the time to 6:30 or 18:30 ensures the date wheel is not engaged before you set the date. Attempting to set the Date Wheel while it is engaged can damage the movement of the watch.
Set the Date
Pull the crown directly away from the case until you feel the first click. This is position 1. Turn the crown counterclockwise to set the date. To avoid potential damage, set the time to 6:30 or 18:30 before adjusting the date.
Set the Time
Pull the crown out to the second click. The seconds hand should stop, allowing for precise time setting. Turn the crown to set the time, being mindful of whether you are setting AM or PM.
Securing the Crown
Push the crown back in to position 0. Screw-down crown, screw it back down to ensure water resistance.
